About the Pentair Challenger High Flow

Pentair's 2021 pump parts catalog gives one replacement parts list for the Challenger High Flow pump. The seal plate, seal, clamp, housing, strainer pot and hardware are shared; the motor, impeller, diffuser, mounting plate and power end are listed by horsepower code (for example '1F, 1-1/2A'), and the 5 HP models take their own diffuser o-ring, basket, lid and lid seal.

The pump base includes a dual-radius motor support adapter that fits both 5-5/8 in. and 6-1/2 in. diameter motors.

Repair or replace?

Most of these parts are replaceable on their own, which is why it matters which one has actually failed before anything is ordered. Whether a repair or a new pump makes more sense depends on what failed and the condition of the rest of the pump. Pool Pump Repair & Installation · Pool Equipment Replacement & Upgrades
