About the Pentair Challenger High Pressure
Pentair's 2021 pump parts catalog gives one replacement parts list for the Challenger High Pressure pump. The seal plate, seal, clamp, housing, strainer pot and hardware are shared; the motor, impeller, diffuser, mounting plate and power end are listed by horsepower code (for example '1F, 1-1/2A').
For 2F and 2-1/2A pumps built before 10-1-92, Pentair says the diffuser 355545 and impeller 355604 must be replaced together.
Repair or replace?
Most of these parts are replaceable on their own, which is why it matters which one has actually failed before anything is ordered.
