About the Pentair Clean & Clear
Pentair's 2021 Pool Filter Replacement Parts Catalog gives one parts list for the Clean & Clear / Predator cartridge filters in five sizes: 50, 75, 100, 150 and 200 sq. ft. The lid, center core, cartridge element and tank bottom depend on the size; the air relief valve, gauge, locking ring, body O-ring, air bleed sock, drain and union parts are shared.
The drain cap and its gasket changed in 11/98: filters made before then use a drain cap and gasket, later ones a 1-1/2 in. drain plug with O-ring.
Repair or replace?
Most of these parts are replaceable on their own, which is why it matters which one has actually failed before anything is ordered.
