About the Pentair EasyClean D.E.
Pentair's 2021 parts catalog lists the EasyClean D.E. filter systems EC60 and EC90 together. The cartridge element, tank bottom and element retro kit are specific to each model; the lid, locking ring, center core parts, air bleeder, check valve, union and drain parts are shared.
The element retro kit (item 21) replaces the center core, cartridge element and air bleeder sock kit on filters manufactured before 2014.
Repair or replace?
Most of these parts are replaceable on their own, which is why it matters which one has actually failed before anything is ordered.
