About the Pentair System 3 D.E. (SD series)
Pentair's 2021 parts catalog lists the System 3 SD series D.E. filters S7D75 and S8D110, with a second page breaking down each filter element assembly into its manifold, covered elements, grid support and rods.
The upper and lower tank shells, filter assembly, inlet assembly and cord ring are specific to each model, and most covered elements differ between the two element assemblies. The S7D75 uses seven clamps and bolts, the S8D110 eight.
Repair or replace?
Most of these parts are replaceable on their own, which is why it matters which one has actually failed before anything is ordered.
